My Holiday Proof; Real Life LOA Lessons Learned

(This looks bad but there really is a happy ending)

How many times a day do we ask yourselves why me? Why does this have to happen to me? I caught myself asking that very question….

So there we were….. Driving on Highway I-75 through Texas over the holidays and before I knew what was happening we slid on ice on an overpass, slammed into the cement barrier….Bam!.... there goes the left corner of the car, we spun across the highway and hit the guardrail….Ouch…there goes the right corner! Then we came to a sudden halt, apparently the guardrail stopped us from tumbling down the embankment. And then silence….dead silence…I was wondering if we were still alive…. All I could see was white… heaven? No, just the airbag. Then I heard my friend shout get out of the car, get out of the car! He saw smoke and thought the car was going to blow up and fearful a truck would drive by and smack right into us.
